Age: 11

Gayle’s words "Yes, it is a beautiful photo of Faith. The colours are very rich and we decided on the wardrobe together.” “The space at the side of her is important to me too” Gayle highlights how the “negative space” affects the finished image; “I’m not a photo shopper, I like to leave the person looking as natural as possible.”
I think her Mum is the driving force” Gayle told us, “Little Megan is following in Faiths footsteps too”
Faith Breese; Profession: Agency Signed Model & Actress

I’m very proud of what I have achieved and how far I have come in 3 years! People don’t realise how hard modelling and acting can be – it involves lots of travelling usually at short notice with long days. These can be very early mornings and late nights. Preparation and planning are key for both modelling and acting – whether it’s knowing the script, bringing garments or accessories, planning the journey and sorting out child performance licences/leasing with the school and local LEA. Other factors such as the weather/short notice/last minute changes can cause complications. This industry can also be very hard and lonely at times, people can say negative comments and it takes great strength of character to not let the minority bring your self-esteem down.

Support is a MUST

Thankfully my mum manages all my social media on my behalf, it’s not always sunshine and roses but she does a wonderful job! My family, friends and school are amazing and support me with my dreams and ambitions. I am so grateful to my mum, dad and family who go above and beyond to support me anyway they can. Sometimes it can be hard to find time to spend time with friends and family, but they understand my passion within this industry and they are very supportive and proud of me. I am usually very busy but that doesn’t stop me from doing clubs in and outside of school or having sleepovers, spending time with my family and friends.

Passion

I love doing different types of photo shoots from creative, fine art or themed shoots and experimenting with hair, make-up and creative fashion! I really enjoyed exploring underwater photo shoots; this was very challenging but so much fun! I love making friends and working with people on my adventures with beautiful fun memories that last forever.

Proudest Modelling Achievements

My proudest modelling achievement was my images featuring in Vogue magazine.

When Katheryn Winnock (Lagethra from the TV series Vikings) shared my image on her Instagram it reached over 37,616 likes & lovely comments!

AND a SS18 campaign for Yumi Clothing!

Acting Debuts

My proudest acting achievement to date is when I filmed my scenes for V VS V as the character Loreli (which is due out later next year.) I’ve also filmed the Family Jigsaw, twin brothers’ worlds apart and an anti-bullying music video. My favourite days on set was when I spent two days filming for Alton Towers enchanted treehouse, Argos, Sky Kids App and the TV commercial for cool cardz.

I love traveling and learning about the world around me; I have been able to go to Paris, Rome and New York. I learn so much about history and culture when we travel.

Faiths Advice

I would strongly encourage everyone to follow their dreams- you never know where it will lead too or what paths/adventures you will have along the way. It has inspired me in so many ways that I never began to imagine and opened many potential doors that I might not have had the opportunity to explore. I look at it as work experience within each professional role from the cast and crew. Everyone inspires me, and I love to absorb the knowledge they are happy to pass down to me so that one day I might get the opportunity to positively inspire and mentor the next generation.

It’s not just about pretty pictures

Personally, I am spotlight/IMBD registered and attend drama classes. I develop valuable core life skills to such as interview techniques and confidence in auditions with professional casting directors. Script/character/improv/ role play reading supports deep empathy and ethos of the character alongside memory and understanding. I learn about key roles by working in a professional environment with specialist equipment and techniques such as lighting, sound and working in a team!

Love, Faith
